Abstract
The article is written in the framework of ethnic-linguistic direction of contemporary linguistic. In the center of the research - ethnocultural specificity of the words-numerals, which is found in the perception of Russian and Chinese speakers. The analysis are based on the results of the associative experiment, the questionnaire Russians and Chinese and the case study of Russian and Chinese proverbs.
